No. Every creative element of Entangled At A Distance (the story, the characters, the world-building, the science framework, the dialogue, the music, the design decisions) originates from and is controlled by a single human creator.

AI tools are used in the production workflow the same way any professional uses their tools: to work faster and more efficiently, not to replace the creative process. The writing is not AI-generated. The story concepts are not AI-generated. The creative decisions are not AI-generated.

Start with what AI does NOT do here:

• NO AI ARTWORK. Every visual is made by a human: the creator's own work or a credited community artist. Nothing on this site or in this production is AI-generated imagery.
• NO AI-GENERATED STORY OR SCRIPT. Every scene, every line of dialogue, every plot turn is written by the creator. No chapter, scene, or synopsis is machine-written.
• NO AI-GENERATED CHARACTERS OR WORLDBUILDING. The universe, its people, its factions, and its science framework come from one human imagination.
• NO AI-GENERATED MUSIC. Composition is human work.
• NO SYNTHETIC PERFORMANCES. Every character voice starts as a real human performance. AI processing helps one voice become many, but the timing, emotion, and delivery are always performed, never generated.

What AI actually does is far less glamorous. Mostly, it helps keep the ideas organized while the creator does the storytelling:

• Organization: Notes, timelines, continuity tracking, and story references stay in order so the writing can stay in motion.
• Voice production: All character voices begin as the creator's own vocal performances. AI voice-to-voice processing is used to differentiate characters, the same way an actor performs a role and post-production processes the result. The performance, timing, emotion, and delivery are human. The tool helps one voice become many.
• Editing and proofing: AI assists with copy editing, proofreading, and technical review in the same capacity as a word processor's spell check. Catching errors, not generating content.
• Development workflow: AI assists with code implementation, repetitive production tasks, and technical problem-solving. The architectural decisions, design direction, and creative specifications are determined by the creator. AI helps execute them faster.

In short: AI is a tool in the workshop, not the craftsperson. The distinction matters, and transparency about it is non-negotiable.

When something on this site IS AI-generated, it gets named here plainly, not buried in fine print. The current list:

• The orbital transit simulator on the References page. The creator specified what it should show, how it should behave, and what it should look like, and rejected every version that got the physics wrong, but the code that computes and draws it is AI-built. It is a technical visualization, not creative story content, and it is the one piece of this project the creator will happily admit to not "making." Owned, disclosed, and labelled right where it lives.

If a human developer, artist, or maker would like to contribute a human-built replacement (or addition) for anything on this list, the comms are open. Human creations are always welcome here.

Because keepers keep. The tradition this project draws from, and the family it comes from, is built on the principle that when something needs doing, you learn to do it. You don't wait for a team. You don't wait for permission. You become what the station needs.

The project isn't closed to collaboration. But it started because the story needed to exist, and waiting for the "right conditions" would have meant waiting forever. AI tools have made it possible for a solo creator to produce at a level that previously required a team, and that's exactly the kind of technological shift the story itself explores.

No. Entangled At A Distance is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, funded by, or contracted to any studio, network, publisher, or production company. All intellectual property rights are held by the creator. This site is the official and sole distribution platform.

Absolutely. Fan art, fan fiction, theory crafting, concept designs, and creative responses to the universe are welcome and encouraged. A dedicated section for crew contributions is in development, and community work will be featured and celebrated on its own terms.

One important distinction: fan content does not become part of the official canon. The creative direction of the EAD universe is stewarded by its creator, and canon is defined solely by what appears in official releases. Community contributions live alongside the official universe (valued, visible, and encouraged) but separate from the canonical storyline unless formally incorporated.

When a community idea is brought into the canon, it will be done through direct communication with the contributor, with clear credit and their involvement. That said, the EAD universe is deeply planned and continuously in development. If official content happens to resemble a fan submission, that reflects parallel thinking, not borrowing. Submitting fan content does not create a claim to similar concepts that appear in official releases.
